My name is Patrick and I am a dynamic individual with a deep-rooted passion for boating and water sports. Born and raised on the shores of Lake Superior and Lake Huron (Canada), I developed a profound love for the water from a young age. My journey began with household chores, earning me my first tinny at the age of 8. By 12, I graduated to hydroplane race boats, marking the start of my adventure and draw to the water.
My enthusiasm for waterskiing, wakeboarding, and other tow sports, lead me to coaching and instruction certifications by the age of 20. Driven by a desire for longer seasons, I moved to Florida (USA) the waterski capital of the world. There, I started a career at Liquid Sports Marine, a local Mastercraft dealer, where I honed my skills in sales.
Returning to Canada, I joined Gordon Bay Marine in cottage country, excelling in boat sales for over six seasons. Seeking new challenges, I ventured to Australia, where I immersed in the vibrant watersports community while working for ProWake, the Tige boat dealer at that time. Shortly thereafter, I played a key role in managing and establishing the Cobalt boat dealership in Queensland (until 2017), then expanded my expertise in the marine industry by going out on my own.
My career journey is reflective in my expertise and passion for the marine industry, combining extensive experience in boat sales and watersports coaching. Beyond my professional endeavors, I find inspiration in exploring new waterways and promoting the joy of boating and watersports to everyone I meet.
Currently, I thrive in my role as the owner and broker at Coastal Boat Sales, where I have broadened my experience across a wide variety of boats . Along with my team, we go beyond boat sales – by also managing financing, inspections, mechanical repairs, insurance, warranties, and more – ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
